Sidon will task you with investigating the local water contamination and finding historian Jiahto near Toto Lake. Completing the necessary prerequisites grants you the Zora Armor, which allows Link to swim up waterfalls effortlessly. This key armor piece makes navigating the aquatic terrain and reaching high platforms far more accessible.
Investigating the Ancient Zora Waterworks and Sky Islands
Your next major objective involves solving clues to reveal the path into the sky. After meeting with King Dorephan and solving the droplet puzzle at the Land of the Sky Fish, a beam of light will reveal the entrance to the Ancient Zora Waterworks. Descend into the cavern and unblock the rock-filled pipes using bomb arrows or blunt weapons to raise the water level.
Once the water rises, interact with the main mechanism to trigger a massive waterfall descending from the sky. Use your Zora Armor to climb the waterfall and reach Wellspring Island. Navigating this low-gravity floating chain of islands requires utilizing water bubbles and Zonai gliders to reach the entrance of the Water Temple.
Conquering the Water Temple and Boss Battle
Inside the Water Temple, Link and Sidon must restore water flow by activating four central faucet mechanisms.
